About the project
Fable Technology is a Taipei consultancy that plans and builds systems for other people — banks, retailers, government, startups. This was their new face for the year, carrying the theme they had set for it: Enable Yourself, about taking on the work you cannot yet do instead of talking your way around it.
One page, one scroll, built alone over about a month to the designer's comps in HTML, CSS and jQuery. The whole story had to unfold as you came down it.
Nearly all of that month went into the homepage animation — sequences that read as one motion but are really a stack of separately timed pieces, each of which has to survive being scrolled past at any speed.
